The young Nigerian
writer obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Nnamdi Azikiwe
University, Anambra state, Nigeria, after which he proceeded to obtain a
master’s degree specializing in
‘Architectural Design and Theory’ from the School Of Architecture And Interior
Design, SRM University, Chennai India. He is presently pursuing a Doctorate degree
in ‘Environmental Planning And Management’ because of his love for Sustainable Development.
He is a
practicing Architect at Geometrix Consultants and builders ltd., the Architecture practise of Arc Uche. J. Uche, (renowned for bagging high-brow political commissions such as embassies, etc).
He has a passion for
helping younger ones, and in this case Architecture students - to understand
and OVERCOME the challenges of life and the profession, as he also keeps
learning.
The book ‘learning to be an Architect’ is his
first attempt at crystallizing his professional experiences in order to help others.
This blog is an online diary of my experiences, presented in a
light-hearted humorous flare that not only captivates but also sustains the
interest of the reader to want to know what happens next. The effort to
articulate apparent trivial events with astounding lucidity, smacks of a
budding institution. I started this blog for personal record purpose, However If the information here educates or enlightens you in anyway, It is my utmost pleasure.

BEYOND ARCHITECTURE
..................................
Once You are an Architect, Its quite impossible to separate everyday life from the same philosophies you use at work.
But when you manage to do so, you will find that, Other corners of life such as love and family, religion and faith are as well important. Not to forget other personal interests or gifts such as writing or sporting.
This page is dedicated to those such areas of me, as are congruous to the learning and practice of Architecture.

WRITING FOR EDUCATION
Being one of the few Architects who actually find time to write, outside the practise, I strive to convey my knowledge in text as passionately as possible, hoping that, someone, out there, somewhere, some time would spare some tiny miny little time out of his/her very 'busy' schedule to skim through it and learn something.
This book, LEARNING TO BE AN ARCHITECT is a result of experiences as a student of Architecture and general learning.
It covers all the major challenges facing students of Architecture in
colleges and universities, and how they can be ethically surmounted.

SPORTING
Maybe its the rhythm, or just the relevance of eye-hand-ear and mind synchrony while at play, but I just love to play Table Tennis, whenever I get the Chance to get off the laptop screen.
ENTRE-ARCHITECT
left - right: Promise(landsacpe gardener), Kosi at Mealsworth |
By the morning of my 24th birthday, I had paid for my own restaurant space.
Three years down the line, I've started several other businesses, my own Architecture practice PE Consultants and ICT Solutions company: Cadright Global Resources. We have handled lots of ICT related jobs for numerous clients as a result of which I'm picking up a lot of business training on the streets and on-the-go.
